9662230-87114 Job Description Step into an impactful role supporting middle and high school learners as a contract Social Worker at a dynamic public STEM school near Albuquerque, NM. This .8 FTE (30-32 hours/week) position offers the chance to work with a close-knit student communityonly about 325 students in totalensuring meaningful, individualized support. The assignment runs ASAP through May 27th, collaborating with grades 6-12 and making a real difference every day. Your caseload will focus on 16 students with IEPs while also providing assistance for general emergent needs that arise throughout the school. Youll partner with educators, families, and staff to create positive, proactive strategies for student growth and wellness in a STEM-focused academic environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active social work licensure (LCSW, LMSW, or similar) Prior experience as a School Social Worker or in a healthcare or school setting Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services Strong communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills Ability to coordinate with teachers, counselors, and families Comfort working with adolescents in grades 6-12
