This is a great opportunity for educators, education students, early childhood professionals, and individuals who enjoy working directly with children, families, and the community.

Position Details Pay:

$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

Fridays, primarily between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Additional Availability:

Occasional Saturdays may be required based on scheduled community events and workshops.

Temporary/Contract What You'll Do:

As a Workshop Facilitator, you will help deliver engaging virtual and in-person family engagement programs focused on math, literacy, health, and school-readiness skills for children ages 2-8. You will work with children, parents, caregivers, teachers, and community partners while introducing families to the educational programming and resources available through Vegas PBS.

Responsibilities include:

Facilitate interactive educational workshops and family engagement activities. Engage children and families in fun, age-appropriate learning experiences. Share Vegas PBS educational resources, programming, and services with participants. Assist with technology used during workshops, including tablets, laptops, mobile devices, and projectors. Maintain appropriate documentation for facilitated activities. What We're Looking For Two or more years of teaching experience in an accredited K-12 school or two or more years of experience working with families from diverse backgrounds with young children. Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills. Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Experience setting up and using basic presentation technology. Reliable transportation. Availability on Fridays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish. College coursework in early childhood education. Experience collaborating with diverse community members on educational projects. Why Join Vegas PBS?
