Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program Current licensure as a school social worker (or eligibility for certification) Experience working within school systems or with youth populations Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and social-emotional learning Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Organized, flexible, and able to manage diverse caseloads

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges Develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Facilitate group sessions and preventive programs addressing issues such as bullying, peer relationships, trauma, and mental health Liaise between students, families, educators, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support Participate in student support teams, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and the development of 504 Plans Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and case records Advocate for students well-being and help foster an inclusive, positive school climate This contract position enables you to foster growth and resilience in students while collaborating with a passionate educational team.
