•Req Number•196246 Job Description Leads, guides, and coordinates staff, students, and support staff in the performance of duties. Provides social work services to patients and/or their families throughout the continuum of care. Performs all functions of Social Worker. Job Responsibility + Assists in the formulation and development of departmental and interdepartmental programs, policies and procedures. + Contributes to the assessment of social health needs in the facility and community; participates in the development of effective health and welfare services/resources. + Collaborates with other staff members to identify unmet psychosocial needs of patients. + Participates in appropriate research, staff development programs, and community liaison activities. + Contributes to educational activities including presentation, training of graduate students, attending/championing workshops and seminars. + May participate in hospital committees to discuss social work practice and procedures. + Provides ongoing psychotherapy to children and adolescents from age 5yrs to 21yrs old. Utilizing multiple EBT treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Family therapy, Parent Behavioral Training, Group therapy, etc. + Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team, school personnel and families. + Ability to manage caseload independently, scheduling ongoing treatment, coordinate additional resources when needed. + Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification + Master of Social Work required. + Current License to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. + 3-5 years of relevant experience, required. + Ability to work Monday to Friday, with at least 2 evening shifts from 11:30AM-8:00PM. + Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred. + Previous experience with working with children of high acuity, ADHD, and ASD is a plus. •Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
