Position:
After-School Aide Temporary Substitute Eagles Landing Program K-3
Status:
Part-Time, Non-Exempt Start date: August 2026
Hours:
3:00-6:00 p.m., M - F, following the school calendar
Job Summary:
The After-School Aide assists in maintaining an appropriate learning environment, providing age-appropriate activities, and contributes his/her talents to create an excellent program and positive experience in the Eagle's Zone.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitors the safety and security of students after school Supervises students in study tables, playground activities, and free play Communicates effectively with Administrative Service Manager Maintains accurate attendance records Ensures materials are well-managed and school property is maintained in an orderly fashion. Creates and maintains a respectful, safe, and nurturing environment. Performs other related duties as needed/assigned.
Qualifications:
High school graduate (required) Experience working with elementary age children Strong Christian background Well-developed sense of responsibility Strong communication skills Friendly and patient interactions with parents and students Reliable, consistent attendance Comfortable working in a multi-denominational, Christian environment CHCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
