Licensed Social Worker / Therapist - Pediatric Mental Health We are seeking a compassionate, positive, and collaborative Licensed Social Worker/Therapist to join our pediatric mental health team. This role focuses on providing therapy to children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs within a neurodiversity-affirming, play-based environment . Our therapists maintain a very small caseload , allowing for meaningful therapeutic relationships and individualized care rather than a high-volume therapy model. Sessions are typically 2-3 hours in length , giving clinicians the time to build rapport, engage children through play, and provide individualized therapeutic support. The therapist will provide psychotherapy, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), and Day Treatment , as clinically appropriate. The role also includes meeting with families weekly to monthly , depending on the client's needs, and collaborating regularly with the client's Behavior Analyst/BCBA to ensure mental health and behavioral services are coordinated. Work with children experiencing autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, and other mental health needs . Provide 2-3 hour therapeutic sessions utilizing play-based, relationship-focused, and developmentally appropriate interventions. Utilize neurodiversity-affirming approaches that recognize and respect each child's individual strengths, communication style, sensory needs, and way of experiencing the world. Provide TBS, CPST, Day Treatment, and psychotherapy services as clinically appropriate. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's clinical needs, strengths, interests, and goals. Meet with families weekly to monthly , depending on the client's needs, for parent support, therapeutic education, treatment updates, and collaboration. Collaborate regularly with the client's BCBA/Behavior Analyst to coordinate mental health and behavioral treatment goals. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, team meetings, and clinical consultation. Support children in developing emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, social skills, self-advocacy, and adaptive functioning. Incorporate children's interests, strengths, and preferred activities into therapeutic interventions. Complete required clinical documentation and maintain compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, HIPAA, Medicaid, and MCO requirements. Contribute to a positive team culture by communicating openly, supporting coworkers, sharing ideas, and participating actively in collaborative problem-solving. Skills & Qualifications Current LSW, LISW, LISW-S, or other applicable Ohio mental health licensure . Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field. Experience working with children and adolescents preferred. Experience working with autistic children, children with ADHD, anxiety, or other developmental and mental health needs strongly preferred. Understanding of child development and pediatric mental health. Interest in play-based, relationship-based, and developmental approaches to therapy . Willingness to participate in paid training in FIR/Floortime therapy and other specialized therapeutic approaches. Strong family engagement and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs, behavioral technicians, families, and other members of a multidisciplinary team. Positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in working collaboratively. Eagerness to learn, ask questions, share ideas, and support fellow team members. Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based care . Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
