The Highland County Family Advocacy Center is in search of individuals interested in joining our team full-time, as a supervised visitation monitor. This position offers a minimum of 32 hours/week with benefits. Hours are currently Tuesday through Friday (early afternoon through mid-evening), and every other Sunday afternoon. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License and a safe driving record 2. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen 3. Must have a willingness and ability to work with diverse populations 4. Must have, at minimum, a high school diploma (college preferred) 5. Must be able to multitask and work in an environment with interruptions 6. Must have experience working well with children and/or families under pressure 7. Must be able to work cooperatively with peers and supervisors 8. Must have excellent observation and documentation skills including typing skills 9. Must be physically able. This position requires a good deal of walking, getting up and sitting down frequently, and lifting of children. 10. Ideally, candidates will have a solid understanding of child safety, healthy parenting practices, and trauma. 11. Candidates best suited for the position will have an ability to be assertive while demonstrating support and compassion.
