Key Qualifications:

Active licensure as a School Social Worker in Pennsylvania (or eligibility) Previous experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally in a school or emotional support setting Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implementing interventions within school environments Compassionate approach with students, staff, and families

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Deliver direct social-emotional support and counseling to K-4 students in emotional support classrooms Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to develop and implement behavior plans and social skills groups Conduct assessments, track student progress, and report findings Provide crisis intervention and develop strategies for student success Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community resources In this role, youll have the opportunity to work onsite and make a true difference for elementary students in emotional support programs.
