9638179-15423 Job Description Make a real difference supporting students and families as a contracted social worker in a dynamic educational environment near Coal Center, PA. Two full-time opportunities are currently open: one position supports emotional support and partial hospitalization programs at a McMurray campus; the other offers a long-term substitute assignment serving students in the Coal Center region. These roles offer a chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide critical interventions for students who benefit from dedicated social work support.

Desired qualifications and experience:

Masters degree in Social Work or a related field Valid PA State License PDE Educational Specialist certification preferred (If you do not currently possess the PDE certificate, consideration will be given, and an emergency certificate may be requested) Strong clinical, counseling, and crisis intervention skills in school-based settings Experience with emotional support or behavioral health programs is highly valued Responsibilities include: Delivering direct counseling and social-emotional interventions to students in need Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and monitor individual student support plans Facilitating groups and activities designed to address students social-emotional development Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education planning Maintaining accurate case notes and documentation in accordance with district and regulatory standards Supporting transitions, attendance, and engagement for students requiring additional care These are full-time, contract positions, offering 35 hours per week for the duration of the assignments.
