This is an exciting opportunity to work with Intensive Family Services (IFS), a preservation and reunification program for families involved with York County Children and Youth. You will work as part of a two-person team with a Family Therapist in families' homes and the community. Both the teamwork aspect and the in-home aspect are very important. Compensation is based on the number of billable hours. Administrative duties are reimbursed at a lower rate. Hours of work are flexible, requiring some evening hours. Provides quality, flexible services to clients: Clinical, life skills or advocacy services as appropriate; goal development/treatment planning; engaging clients in treatment process. Provides parenting information through instructional materials and role modeling; facilitates nutritional program as needed; assesses families' needs for community resources; makes appropriate referrals; establishes working relationships with community providers and advocates for clients' needs; explores and facilitates family recreational opportunities; provides budget counseling as needed; implements educational tools for parenting, anger management, family planning, time management, family structure, and home management; teaches social skills to children and youth; teaches sexual abuse prevention; provides transportation to appointments as needed, to support treatment activities; communication and problem solving skills for parents and children; also self-esteem skill development, as needed, to support therapist's interventions; supervises visitations as needed. Attend court, as well as professional meetings when directed; schedule and conduct monthly multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings (MDT), includes preparing the MDT report and providing a copy to the referral source. Performs Lead duties as assigned.

Meets productivity goals; schedules expected number of appointments; low number of "no show"/cancelled sessions. Submits paperwork (Reports, Statistical Info.): Submits accurate, well-organized work; demonstrates quality, professional writing skills; maintains concise progress notes within expected time frames; submits accurate well-organized statistical information, as needed, in timely manner; submits expense sheet at the end of month; submits and updates weekly schedule. Completes and submits initial paperwork and intake/application forms; educates client about on-call system; completes/updates consent for information releases; maintains contact with involved professionals; schedules intakes and progress meetings in timely manner; administers scoring instruments; maintains complete and orderly case files; coordinates closure process with clients; administers client satisfaction surveys. Attend and participate in all weekly staff meetings, provide fellow team members with support and guidance; attend monthly supervision with Director; attend trainings as required. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours which include three evenings per week averaging roughly (20-30 hours per week). This position is compensated based on the number of billable hours submitted. The administrative elements including training are reimbursed at a lower rate. Bachelor's degree required. Experience working with Children. Catholic Charities requires State Police, Child Line, FBI Clearances, valid PA Driver's license, UPITT Youth Protection Training and adequate auto insurance according to agency policy.
