We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Care Coordinator to join our team. This vital role involves coordinating and supporting services for children in need, ensuring they receive appropriate care and resources. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and experience working within medical or dental office environments. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for children and their families, providing guidance and support throughout their care journey. Coordinate appointments, follow-up care, and communication between healthcare providers, families, and community resources. Maintain accurate documentation of medical records, appointments, and service plans in compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and managing medical office correspondence. Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure children's needs are met efficiently and effectively. Provide educational information to families regarding treatment options, community resources, and health maintenance. Support the implementation of care plans by liaising with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes. Requirements Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Compassionate communication skills tailored to working with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling, record keeping, and data management. Knowledge of community resources related to child health and welfare is a plus.
