Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis tailored to client needs. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on mental health interventions for conditions such as PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and Alzheimer's care. Manage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention strategies while ensuring client safety and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards across EMR/EHR systems. Facilitate patient assessments related to psychiatric patient care, medical social work, and social work case management while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in medical records. Engage in community outreach and home visits when appropriate to support patients' social determinants of health within their environments. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Social Worker or Therapist with state-specific credentials. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings—preferably in hospital or community-based environments. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation (ICD-9/10 coding), and evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Ability to perform crisis management effectively while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies.
