Come & Join The Team of a Leading Therapeutic Foster Care Agency, as a Licensing Social Worker! This is an awesome opportunity for a newly licensed social worker (LBSW). LBSW or higher required! The Licensing Social Worker is primarily responsible for effectively recruiting new foster parents within the Communities, licensing homes of the foster parents per all applicable standards, and ensuring foster parents receive their required training . Preference will be given to candidates who reside in or near Montgomery, Bullock, Macon County and surrounding areas. Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive): Develop effective strategies that will attract new foster parents and contribute to the growth of the Company. Be willing and available to travel to other areas in the State, when needed, to assist with licensing and training. Establish and maintain a professional rapport with foster parents, community partners, clients, and peers. Collaborate with the team on placing Therapeutic Foster Care children in the homes of foster parents. Create and maintain an accurate tracking mechanism on all active and potential foster parents, to include all required data as directed. Accurately license prospective foster homes per all applicable licensing standards and ensure the homes maintain compliance at all times. Ensure foster parent training participants complete all required training as a part of the initial licensing process and required ongoing training. Be accessible to the team and foster parents throughout the day and in the event of a crisis. Other assigned duties. What Do We Need From You? Applicants must be highly motivated, energetic, and optimistic. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants must have excellent organizational skills. Applicants must be a team player. Applicants must be tech-savvy and fluent with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive. This position is provided a laptop, printer, and mobile hotspot. Applicants must be trustworthy to perform duties timely in a 100% community-based working environment (no hand-holding). Additional Requirements Active LBSW or higher in Alabama;
