Qualifications and Experience:

Active license and credentials to practice as a Social Worker in a school or healthcare setting Demonstrated experience working with middle school-aged children and/or individuals with severe autism Background in behavioral intervention, crisis management, or special education support is highly valued Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and staff Leadership skills to mentor and guide Educational Assistants in daily interventions and routines

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 social work support to a middle school student, fostering a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment Develop, implement, and track individualized care and intervention plans centered on student success Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support and goal alignment Lead by example and coach the Educational Assistant, imparting strategies for effective student engagement and support Conduct regular assessments and adapt support strategies as needed to meet evolving needs This position welcomes dynamic social workers eager to drive progress and empower students facing high challenges.
