Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker Previous experience providing school-based social work services preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community partners Knowledge of counseling techniques and resources for youth and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to identify students' needs and develop intervention plans Support students coping with crisis situations, transitions, or family issues Facilitate communication between the school, families, and community resources Develop and implement programs that promote positive school climate and student well-being Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulations and best practices Advocate for students and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and student support teams
