POSITION SUMMARY

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of families with children birth-3? Do you enjoy supporting the growth and development of children with developmental and medical needs? Early Intervention is the place for you! Plans and implements the delivery of Early Intervention services to eligible children and their families from intake through transition according to RI Operational Standards and Individual Family Service Plans. Services are provided in collaboration with families and other team members in a coaching model that reflect the priorities of the family in a manner that is developmentally appropriate. Coaching incorporates goals and strategies within daily home routines. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team in promoting excellence in the field and adhering to agency professional standards of care in order to continuously improve the quality-of service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Human Development and Family Studies or a related field (i.e., child development, social work, psychology, communication disorders, nutrition), with less than two years' experience working with or caring for children birth-K OR Bachelor's Degree in a non-related field and a minimum of two years' experience working with or caring for children birth

•K OR Associate's Degree and a minimum of two years' experience working with or caring for children birth

K BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide services in family homes or the community Provide coaching and education on various topics related to child development and parent-child interactions Establish and maintain professional relationships Effectively communicate verbally and in writing Reliable transportation is necessary
