Job Description

The Casework Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and clinical direction for casework services that support the safety, well-being, and treatment needs of youth residing at Boys Ranch. Supervises and develops casework staff while ensuring the delivery of high-quality case management, family engagement, counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy services. Coordinates assessments, treatment referrals, service planning, and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and professional standards. Collaborates with internal departments, families, and community resources to promote positive outcomes for residents and support the mission and Model of Leadership and Service. Serves as a clinical resource to staff, provides on-call support, and facilitates appropriate treatment recommendations, including diagnostic assessments, behavioral interventions, and psychotropic medication coordination when necessary. Requirements A Master's degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, or related field is required. A license from the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, Texas State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Texas State Board of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Texas State Board of Psychologists or similar is preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience in case management is required. Staff supervision experience is strongly preferred. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license. Must be available for travel as needed.
