Job Description

Home Life Assistants support the daily operations of the campus by providing flexible assistance across residential homes and youth programs. Responsibilities include serving as scheduled coverage in homes, assisting with day-to-day household operations, supporting Youth Activities staff, transporting residents to and from appointments and activities, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment. Home Life Assistants also assist with cleaning, meal preparation, organization, campus projects, and other operational needs to ensure continuity of care and support for residents. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned to support departmental and campus-wide objectives. Requirements A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Experience in childcare is preferred. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing. Must be willing to reside on campus in housing provided. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
