Job Description
About Us Denton Taekwondo is a family-focused martial arts school training under Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters. We teach children and adults confidence, discipline, and respect, and we are growing fast. Our front desk is the first face every family sees, and we are looking for the right person to own that role. The Role You are the heartbeat of our front desk during our busiest hours. You greet families, answer questions, book trial classes, and make sure every parent who walks in feels welcomed and taken care of. This is a people-first job. If you enjoy kids, families, and staying organized, you will do well here. No martial arts experience is required. We will train you on everything. What You'll Do
- Greet students and parents at check-in; keep the lobby warm, clean, and organized
- Answer phone calls, texts, and web inquiries, and book trial classes
- Follow up with families who inquired or missed a scheduled trial class
- Track daily attendance and student progress in our membership software
- Assist with class transitions, uniform and gear handouts, and event sign-ups
- Post photos and short updates to our social media accounts
- Support belt testing days and school events Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (16 hours per week)
- Optional Friday and event Saturdays available for additional hours

- $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience
- Scheduled raise to $18.00 per hour after 90 days for team members who meet performance goals

- Warm, outgoing, and genuinely comfortable talking to parents and children
- Reliable. You show up on time, every time
- Organized and comfortable with computers, email, and phone apps
- Able to follow up consistently without being reminded
- High school diploma or currently enrolled student. College students are welcome
- Must pass a background check. This is required because we work with children Nice to Have, But Not Required
- Prior front desk, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience
- Experience working with children such as coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or babysitting
- Basic social media skills with Instagram and Facebook
- Bilingual in Spanish Why Work Here You are not answering phones in a cubicle.
