A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. About Us:
Garris Group Family Services, LLC is seeking dedicated and skilled QMHPs to serve adult clients in Suffolk, Portsmouth, and Chesapeake, helping them build community stability and independence in the least restrictive environment possible.What You'll Do:
Provide individualized, person-centered services in the home and community. Prepare and update treatment plans in collaboration with consumers. Teach behavioral, social, and daily living skills to help consumers achieve their goals. Provide interventions, community linkage, advocacy, and education. Coordinate care with other service providers and agencies. Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with DBHDS, DMAS, and agency policies. Participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision.Qualifications:
Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP or QMHP-T . Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in community-based services and working with Medicaid consumers preferred. Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently.Why Join Us:
