Redlands, CA Job Details Full-time $32.42 - $47.01 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in social work CPR Certification BLS Certification Master's degree Full Job Description Hourly pay range: $32.42 min. - $47.01 max Reporting to the Director of Social Services, this position provides social case work services to patients and their families when social and emotional problems interfere with "patients receiving maximum benefits," from their medical care. Crisis intervention and counseling are provided when emotional reaction to trauma and sudden loss inhibit family and significant others from successfully participating in appropriate decision-making on behalf of the patient and family. The social worker interprets patient's social and emotional problems to the attending physician and other professional personnel engaging in serving patients and plans jointly with them so that social work services will be an integrated part of patient care. Related duties include abuse reporting, resource referrals, statistics, conferences, in-services, and consultation. Ability to meet all job physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work required. A minimum of 2 years' professional experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
LCSW preferred. Current CPR Certification required. For licensed clinical social worker, a 5150-certification preferred within 1 year of hire.
