It operates as a community behavioral health and service setting rather than a hospital or large medical center. Clinical support is available through an Executive Director and Psychiatrist. About the Facility Location Philadelphia is one of the oldest and most historically significant cities in the United States, home to 67 National Historic Landmarks, including the Liberty Bell Center, the Museum of the American Revolution, and the Betsy Ross House. The city offers a range of attractions, from the Philadelphia Zoo - the first in the country - to the Delaware River Waterfront, as well as the Schuylkill River Trail, which runs nearly 10 miles and accommodates walking, running, and cycling. Philadelphia's diverse neighborhoods, eclectic architecture spanning the 18th century to the present, and a strong cultural and economic foundation make it a destination with broad appeal. About the Clinician's Workday The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide individual, family, and group therapy to adults experiencing psychiatric symptoms on a full-time day shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week. The clinician will conduct intakes and assessments, including biopsychosocial and risk assessments, and will develop treatment and recovery plans in collaboration with clients while monitoring progress. Responsibilities also include crisis intervention and outreach, referrals and care coordination with psychiatrists, medical providers, community resources, and family members, as well as documentation of progress notes, treatment-plan updates, collateral contacts, and discharge summaries. Evidence-based approaches are utilized, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Enhancement Therapy, and Illness Management and Recovery.
