Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using clinical terminology and standardized tools such as ICD-10 coding systems. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client's needs. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on conditions such as PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in their recovery process and enhance motivation for change. Coordinate patient care with medical professionals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Collect data for clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes and participate in case management activities to support clients' ongoing needs. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working with children and adolescents in behavioral health or mental health settings; experience with adults or geriatric populations is also valued. Spanish-speaking preferred. Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and compliance with clinical documentation standards. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or complex mental health conditions such as PTSD is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and professional collaboration; experience in research or data collection is a plus.
