Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Travel and licensure reimbursement where applicable Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements available What You'll Do Conduct intake assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic treatments for patients Collaborate with psychiatric staff in diagnostic and treatment planning Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions Assist with hospitalization arrangements and post-discharge follow-up Contribute to multidisciplinary team conferences and treatment planning Offer consultation to facility staff, including nurses and case managers Maintain accurate documentation, case records, and reports

What You Need Required:

Alaska licensure as LCSW or LPC Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field Experience in mental health assessment and psychotherapy Ability to work effectively in a correctional health setting

Preferred:

Experience providing mental health services in correctional or institutional environments Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings About the Assignment This contract position involves providing specialized mental health services at a correctional facility in Anchorage. You will deliver therapeutic casework, conduct assessments, and collaborate with facility staff to ensure mental health needs are met while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
