What You'll Do:

Conduct interviews, diagnoses, and provide therapeutic treatment to individuals in custody Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with facility staff Provide individual and group psychotherapy, including crisis intervention when necessary Coordinate care, including arranging psychiatric hospitalization and follow-up Participate in diagnostic conferences and case staffings with psychiatrists and clinicians Act as a liaison with community mental health agencies and other social services Assist in developing community mental health programs and outreach initiatives

What You Need:

Required:

Active Alaska LCSW or LPC license Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field Relevant clinical experience in mental health treatment Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with diverse populations

Preferred:

Experience working in correctional or institutional settings Knowledge of mental health laws and policies in Alaska Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills About the
