Seeking a Clinician to join our interdisciplinary team working with individuals diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or General Mental Health diagnosis under Court Ordered Treatment at our Desert Cove Recovery Health Center.
Full-Time Employment:

  • Experience working with Co-Occurring Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders
  • Preferred Behavioral Health Experience
  • Preferred AZ Licensure reimbursed when renewed as a TH Employee (According to Policy)
  • BHT Level Therapists (Masters Required) : Starting at $23.42/hr.
  • $24.47/hr. Associates Level Therapists
  • LMSW, LAC, LAAC
    : Starting at $57,000 per annum
  • $64,000 per annum Independently Licensed Therapists
  • LCSW, LPC, LIAC
    : Starting at $70,000 per annum
  • All above listed ranges are dependent on education and applicable experience
  • Behavioral health experience is defined as employment experience providing direct care to individuals whose condition is related to mental disorder, a personality disorder, substance abuse, or a significant psychological or behavioral response to an identifiable stressor.
Additional Language Differential Pay Available:
Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, or ASL.
Duties Include:
Responsible for providing outpatient counseling services to clients. Provides direct support services to include engaging clients in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services and crisis management. Monitors case load daily to ensure required documentation is completed timely; including, but not limited to, assessments, treatment plans, case reviews and discharge plans. Monitors and follows up on client needs, and submits monthly service reports as required or needed. Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with various State, Federal, and local agencies. Provides client-centered outpatient clinical services to individuals/families in both individual and group sessions Conducts assessments or screenings with clients to evaluate the nature of their presenting problems in order to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plan goals. Coordinates services as necessary working in collaboration with case managers, medical providers, and other clinic staff. Services are provided according to all licensure, state, and federal laws, and Terros Policies and Procedures. May sign off on non-licensed staff's work.

e. MA, MC, MSW, or Arizona behavioral health license (other than LBSW), or eligible for Arizona license from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
Associates Level Licensure:
LMSW, LAC, or LAAC in good standing, or
Independent Licensure:
LCSW, LPC, or LIAC in good standing. Must pass background check in accordance with Terros Health and DCS requirements including, but not limited to, no restraining orders within the last 10 years. Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events. Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate. Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records
  • NextGen is a plus.
Experience working with diverse populations. Bilingual in Spanish/ASL is desired. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm. Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy. Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role. Must pass a TB Test.
