This is a part-time position. 20-25hrs per week. Ideal applicant would have the flexibility to be on call or fill in for last minute needs. The Group Facilitator is responsible for providing direct service to clients, and for facilitating groups for our IOP and PHP women's and men's programs.Primary Responsibilities Include:
Run group therapy under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Serves as the liaison to the clinical and administrative teams as needed. Respond to patient and family concerns in a timely fashion and involve additional clinical/administrative staff as needed. Listens to report and utilizing information to provide quality care; Communicates milieu and Patient issues to the treatment team members during the shift and problem solves effectively; Ensures compliance with confidentiality of Patients information; Monitors and records Patients' progress with respect to individualized treatment goals. Recognizes the precursors of potential crisis and unsafe Patients behavior and intervenes to de-escalate Patients utilizing the least restrictive and therapeutic means of intervention. Completes all required documentation according to policies and procedures and ensures that daily clinical notes document the Patients' progress in meeting their treatment goals Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Masters degree preferred. Could also consider someone in a Master's program. Licensed or Associate clinician preferred or experience running groups in a behavioral health setting Experience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence-based practices Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking Strong written and oral communication skills Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Outlook, Word, Excel and customized databases Ability to work in and adapt the culture of a multi-cultural, community-based organization Commitment to maintain confidentiality, HIPAA competent and complaint.Benefits
