You can make your own schedule and benefit from a flexible schedule. Private practice also allows you to grow in the areas you want as a clinician, and we fully support helping you achieve that goal. Restoring Eden Family Therapy is an expanding private practice founded by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Tristanne Gallardo-Stewart. We have an established practice and receive referrals/inquiries on a consistent basis for counseling services. We also have a contract with Shasta County's Healthy Babies Program which allows us to provide our staff with more than enough clientele. We are committed to helping our community and providing healing to those in need. Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Master's Degree in counseling psychology Registered and in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an
LMFT, LPCC
Hours:
Clinician must be available to provide at least 20 client sessions per week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform counseling services to clients as scheduled. Reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required. Up to date licensure status and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed. Respond to phone calls and/or emails within 24 business hours. Be able to collaborate with schools, other mental health professionals, doctors, and other community based organizations. Maintain written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed. Keep an accurate and up-to-date calendar and client information on Simple Practice. Take payments from clients for services provided. Attend mandatory staff meetings as directed by the employer. Keep up to date on CE's required by the BBS. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid
LMFT,LPCC
license in the state of practice. Experience in patient assessment and knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential. Familiarity with medical records management and ICD-10 coding preferred. Previous experience in prenatal/postpartum counseling is highly desirable. Strong research skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
