Therapist Mastery Program:

• Years 1-2: $4,000 bonus eligibility
• Year 3: $5,000 bonus eligibility Embark is seeking a fully licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC to provide individual, family, and group therapy within our adolescent short-term residential treatment program in San Martin, just south of San Jose.

This role offers a focused caseload of approximately six to eight clients, allowing therapists to build meaningful relationships with teens ages 12-17 and their families while delivering high-quality clinical care. If you're looking for a weekday schedule, collaborative treatment team, and the opportunity to work with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, school refusal, substance use, trauma, and other mental health challenges, we'd love to connect. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents ages 12-17 in a residential treatment setting. Maintain a focused, small caseload of approximately 6 to 8 clients , allowing for individualized treatment and family engagement. Develop, update, and collaborate on treatment plans with an interdisciplinary clinical team. Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and therapeutic support during periods of emotional distress. Conduct parent coaching and family sessions that support treatment progress and successful transitions home. Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare recommendations with families and referral partners. Complete clinical documentation, treatment notes, and assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with program requirements. Qualifications Active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist , Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor required. Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Willingness to obtain and maintain an NPI and CAQH profile as part of onboarding.

Preferred:

2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience.

Preferred:

Experience in residential treatment, PHP, IOP, psychiatric, crisis, substance use, or other high-acuity behavioral health settings. Strong clinical skills working with adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
