Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field California BBS Registration
  • Associate or Licensed (one of the following): Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) School-based clinical experience preferred Experience working with children and/or adolescents required Bilingual Spanish a plus

What You'll Do:
Provide individual and group counseling to students with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges Deliver short-term, strengths-based, evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches) Collaborate with IEP and SST teams, school counselors, administrators, and families Conduct mental health screenings, risk assessments, and safety planning as needed Provide crisis intervention and crisis response support Facilitate psychoeducation groups and classroom-based SEL lessons as needed Engage families through outreach, education, and coordinated support Complete timely clinical documentation and maintain accurate caseload records Submit Medicaid billing in accordance with district requirements Participate in weekly supervision and required professional development trainings This position is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a significant impact on students' lives and building a rewarding career in school-based social work.
