Overview of the position is to be responsible for overseeing 18-24 clients' programs, as well as supervising direct care staff and managing scheduling. To qualify for the position you must have a BA or higher in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field; as well as at least two years working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities (more is preferred). Caring Concern Residential Homes has four ICF-DD homes in Ventura. We pride ourselves on providing the best care to the residents we support medically, socially and through active treatment implementation! Our population ranges in age from 16 to 66 years old, with Intellectual Disabilities that range from mild to profound, and physically our clients are both ambulatory and non-ambulatory. The QIDP will be the primary communicator between families, school/day programs and home staff. This role is responsible for the organization of paperwork in individual charts, running ID Team Meetings, HRC's, staff inservices and other meetings as needed. QIDP also supervises each individuals objectives and ensures OT/PT programs are implemented as scheduled. Will be on call to address all emergencies or staffing needs at all times during the week. Weekends on call will be rotated with the Administrator. Will be expected to be present throughout and prepared for annual licensing reviews.
