Job Description

Hope in the Valley is looking for a compassionate and motivated Addiction Counselor / Social Worker to join our clinical team. If you're passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices. Complete clinical assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and individualized treatment plans. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with medical, nursing, and case management staff. Assist with discharge planning and aftercare coordination. Help create a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for clients.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field. Active Colorado license or credential (LAC, CAC, LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent).
Preferred:
Experience working in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related clinical setting. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches. Why Hope in the Valley?
