Serves as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor Program Manager, RCS Vet Center Director (VCD) and is responsible for the professional and administrive supervision and oversight of all readjustment counseling, outreach, referrals and follow-up care coordinion services provided to eligible individuals within the designed Vet Center Service Area (VSA). The VCD supervises both professional and nonprofessional staff including multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals of various performance levels who work in multiple locions (Vet Centers, Vet Center Outstions and Community Access Points) and in communities distant from the Vet Center through planned outreach, often in conjunction with a Mobile Vet Center Administrive and outreach staff service functions are also the responsibility of the VCD The LPMHC Program Manager VCD oversees the fiscal, contractual, and operional obligions of the community-based Vet Center Leads the coordinion and briefing during meetings with Congressional representives and their staff VCD takes the lead in planning, establishing and implementing Vet Center policies and procedures, developing staff goals and objectives, monitoring, coordining and evaluing the work of all Vet Center staff, including social workers, other Hybrid Title 38 Mental Health professionals, Title 5 Readjustment counselors, outreach workers and office Managers Provides direct readjustment counseling services within and outside of the Vet Center to include in-person and virtual services Perform other duties as assignedWork Schedule :

Examples of reled mental health counseling fields include, but are not limited to Addiction Counseling; Community Counseling; Gerontology Counseling; Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling. The experience must demonstre possession of advanced practice skills and judgment, demonstring progressively more professional competency. Demonstred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. In addition to meeting the KSAs for the GS-12 grade level, the candide must demonstre the KSAs below: Ability to make judgments and decisions associed with program management. Ability to monitor program outcomes using da driven quality assurance process. Ability to develop productivity standards approprie to each service provided.
