Job Description
Oak Mountain Therapy is a private practice located at The Velvet Mill in Stonington, CT. We focus on the mind-body connection when working with individuals who experience PTSD, Chronic Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and Life Changes. Education and Empowerment are a big part of our mission to assist individuals in feeling better about themselves and their current life. We work with additional holistic practices as we believe in whole health. Oak Mountain Therapy offers a fully furnished office space, some marketing (website, social media, flyers, word of mouth), EHR, Credentialing (UHC, Connecticare, Aetna, UMR, Oxford), mind-body connection support, clinical support, and communication with clinicians in the practice. We are seeking an individual who is EMDR Trained or will be EMDR trained, has an interest working with the whole person, and are excited about the mind-body connection. This is for individuals who are looking for more autonomy in their therapy offerings, support, and want to be in a private practice setting. We are seeking individuals who are interested in working independently with sessions and offer mental health support in a variety of ways (community events, therapy sessions, coaching). Additional opportunities for commission pay. ```Requirements```
- Fully Licensed Mental Health Provider in CT (able to accept insurance)
- Offer mainly in-person sessions and some telehealth sessions during the weekday day & evening
- Be able to see a minimum of 10 clients a week
- Self-motivated to complete tasks needed in private practice
- Hold one of the following in
CT:
LPC, LMFT, or LCSW- EMDR trained This is a contract position meaning payment is a percentage of sessions delivered.
