Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health and behavioral care to diverse patient populations. This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills, engage in evidence-based practices, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individuals across the lifespan. Your dedication will help promote mental wellness, resilience, and recovery within our community. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using clinical documentation standards and medical terminology. Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement mental health interventions tailored to patients with various conditions, including substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, Alzheimer's care, and geriatrics. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Experience Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in mental health or behavioral health settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or developmental challenges strengthens your clinical approach. Exposure to crisis management techniques, addiction counseling strategies, and mental health assessments will prepare you for comprehensive client support. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities is a valuable asset for this role.

From $400.00 per day
