TriSource is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide trauma-informed counseling to individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness—while also supervising and supporting a team of mental health counselors. This role blends direct clinical care with clinical leadership, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and effective mental health services. The Counselor plays a key role in staff development, program quality, and collaborative care across multidisciplinary teams.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with flexibility Clinical Responsibilities Provide immediate emotional and psychological support to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment and intervention plans Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling (individual and group), including approaches such as Psychological First Aid (PFA), CBT, and solution-focused therapy Facilitate psycho-educational and life skills groups Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies and state/federal regulations Identify client needs and connect individuals to appropriate community resources and referrals Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy Must be license eligible in Florida Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass FDLE Level II background screening Strong knowledge of community resources and social service systems
