Description:
Who we are: Canopy Village, formerly Children's Village, has been a long-standing pillar in the community serving at risk children, youth, and their families. The Family Support Center at Canopy Village, is a trauma informed safe teen assessment and resource center, providing case management, care coordination, behavioral health services, activities and groups to children and their families. We aim to prevent and divert youth from juvenile justice and child welfare systems through a single point of contact which identifies underlying issues contributing to concerning behavior and partners with youth and families to access individualized services and/or resources. Therapist:
Responsible for providing therapeutic services to youth and their families. Individual, family, and group therapies make this setting an opportunity to expand your clinical skill set and keep the position flexible. Requirements:
Clinical Services Delivery Provide individual and family therapy utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral health needs and contributing factors. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal requirements. Provide therapeutic services to outpatient youth and parents as assigned. Provide family therapy services as indicated. Group Facilitation & Parent Support Facilitate therapeutic groups for youth. Facilitate education and parenting skill groups for parents. Collaboration & Team Engagement Work collaboratively with Canopy Village staff and community partners. Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities. Contribute positively to program development and team effectiveness. Compliance and Professional Standards Adhere to NASW Code of Ethics and all applicable professional standards. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy regulations. Complete required certifications and maintain professional licensure. Follow all Canopy Village policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Fulfill mandatory reporting obligations and background clearance requirements.
