This north central Kansas mental health center is seeking a highly compassionate individual for a Crisis Clinician to provide emergency services for individuals in crisis. Responsibilities include preliminary assessment, immediate crisis resolution and de-escalation, and referral to appropriate community services to avoid more restrictive levels of treatment. Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, professional counseling, or related human services field Maintain professional licensure with the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board of Kansas Have excellent judgment, conflict resolution skills, ability to work with diverse personalities, in a tactful, flexible, and mature way Experience in trauma informed care (preferred) Ability to collaborate and engage effectively with strong diagnostic and assessment skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
