Job Description
PsychPros is assisting a long-standing non-profit behavioral health organization in Owensboro, Kentucky, with its search for a Lead Clinical Therapist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing trauma-informed care to youth and families in a collaborative, supportive environment. This is a salaried position with no billable productivity requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the treatment of youth in care. Assign clinician caseloads and monitor compliance with clinical documentation, human trafficking screenings, and state and federal regulations. Provide clinical guidance and consultation to Case Managers, Care Team Coordinators, Unit Supervisors, and Direct Care staff. Participate in Care Team meetings and offer expertise on mental health treatment and trauma-informed behavioral interventions. Prepare diagnostic assessments, develop treatment recommendations, facilitate clinical staff training, and support program development. Serve as the primary clinical liaison to the Care Team Coordinator and Program Director. Participate in the on-call crisis rotation. Conduct mental health assessments, provide individual and group counseling, complete human trafficking screenings, and deliver crisis intervention services. Maintain a clinical caseload while providing leadership support, based on program census and staffing needs. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline. Active Kentucky clinical licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT . Preferred Experience Three (3) years of post-graduate clinical experience. One (1) year providing direct services to youth and families. One (1) year of community-based and/or in-home behavioral health experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
