Behavioral Health Clinician - LPCA or CSW We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Kentucky Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) or Certified Social Worker (CSW) to join our growing behavioral health and substance use treatment team. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide clinical services to individuals receiving substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment. This is a hands-on clinical position that includes completing intake assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) groups, providing individual clinical services, completing required documentation, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning. All clinical duties must be performed within the clinician's Kentucky credential, education, training, authorized scope of practice, and applicable supervision requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Complete comprehensive client intake assessments and clinical evaluations within authorized scope of practice. Conduct screenings and other appropriate clinical assessments to identify behavioral health, substance use, psychosocial, and recovery-related needs. Gather and document relevant client history, presenting concerns, strengths, barriers, risk factors, support systems, and treatment needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and identified client goals. Review and update treatment plans according to client progress and applicable clinical requirements. Plan, develop, and facilitate Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) groups. Prepare appropriate TRP group topics, educational materials, activities, and interventions based on client needs and treatment goals. Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups addressing topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, communication, decision-making, life skills, recovery skills, triggers, boundaries, stress management, and independent living. Provide individual clinical services within the clinician's authorized scope of practice. Utilize person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate. Utilize motivational interviewing and other appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote client engagement and progress. Monitor client progress and identify changes in behavioral health symptoms, substance use, functioning, safety, and treatment needs. Participate in treatment-team meetings, case consultations, discharge planning, and coordination of care. Collaborate appropriately with other members of the treatment team, including clinical supervisors, case managers, peer support specialists, medical providers, and other behavioral health professionals. Coordinate with community providers, recovery supports, courts, probation/parole, recovery residences, and other authorized parties when clinically appropriate and properly authorized. Assist with referrals and transitions to appropriate levels of care and community resources. Complete progress notes, group documentation, assessments, treatment plans, treatment-plan reviews, discharge documentation, and other required clinical records accurately and within established timeframes. Maintain accurate, professional, and complete documentation that supports the services provided and the client's treatment needs. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with

Part 2 when applicable, organizational policies, and other applicable federal and Kentucky requirements. Maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients. Identify and appropriately respond to safety concerns, crisis situations, suspected abuse or neglect, and other reportable events according to organizational policy and applicable law. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, trainings, quality-assurance activities, case reviews, and continuing education. Work collaboratively with leadership and other team members to support quality client care and positive treatment outcomes. Maintain all required licenses, credentials, continuing education, and supervision requirements. Perform additional clinically appropriate duties consistent with the employee's credential, education, training, supervision, and legal scope of practice. Required Qualifications Current and active Kentucky LPCA or CSW credential in good standing. Appropriate graduate-level education required for the individual's professional credential. Must maintain all applicable Kentucky supervision and credentialing requirements. Must be comfortable completing comprehensive intake assessments and clinical documentation within authorized scope of practice. Must be comfortable facilitating TRP, therapeutic, and psychoeducational groups. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively and complete required documentation within established deadlines. Ability to work professionally as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Dependable, professional, compassionate, and client-centered. Must successfully complete applicable background checks, credential verification, screenings, and onboarding requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs . Experience completing behavioral health or substance use assessments. Experience facilitating therapeutic, rehabilitation, recovery-focused, or psychoeducational groups. Experience with treatment planning and clinical documentation. Knowledge of substance use disorders, relapse prevention, recovery principles, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health treatment. Experience working with individuals involved with courts, probation/parole, recovery housing, or other community-based systems is a plus. Clinical Supervision & Professional Development Clinical supervision with an LCSW is provided.
