Responsibilities Build trusting relationships with families and individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing mentorship and emotional support. Coordinate community resources related to child & family services, mental health, addiction counseling, and social support programs to meet clients' unique needs. Offer guidance on healthy coping strategies, caregiving techniques, and conflict management tailored to each client's circumstances. Assist clients in developing personalized wellness plans that promote mental health, substance use recovery, and overall well-being. Facilitate educational activities and teaching sessions focused on health literacy, life skills, and resilience-building for youth and adults. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information while ensuring clear client communication at all times. Support high-risk populations by providing peer support, adult mentoring, and culturally competent care that respects individual backgrounds. Support children, teens and young adults with health and wellness community activites and resources Skills Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with culturally diverse communities. Strong background in social work or child & family services with experience supporting underserved populations. Proven ability to mentor youth and adults with mental health conditions or substance use disorders effectively. Skilled in community resource coordination, advocacy, and client-centered communication. Expertise in addiction counseling, caregiving practices, conflict management, and teaching methods. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust through empathetic listening and supportive engagement.
