Addiction Healing Center is seeking a Clinical Counselor to provide therapy to individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.
What You'll Do:
Deliver individual and group counseling services to both residential and outpatient clients Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist with intake processes Develop and update individualized treatment plans using ASAM criteria Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and participate in regular treatment meetings Document all sessions and treatment updates accurately and promptly in compliance with CARF and COMAR standards Support clients' emotional and psychological growth with compassion, respect, and cultural humility
What We're Looking For:
A current or eligible Maryland license or certification, including: CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or ADT NPI and Medicaid provider number preferred (or willingness to obtain) Experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders Familiarity with
CARF, ASAM
levels of care, and COMAR regulations (preferred) Commitment to ethical care, clear documentation, and professional collaboration
