Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and mental health evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment pathways Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage urgent cases with professionalism and compassion Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and medical records protocols, ensuring accurate medical terminology usage and HIPAA compliance Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while maintaining high-quality patient care and client communication Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management, social work interventions, and support for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment planning records, and medical records in EMR/EHR systems Requirements Licensed or credentialed as a licensed mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health counseling, grief counseling, addiction counseling, or trauma-focused therapy Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical terminology for accurate documentation and billing purposes Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or co-occurring disorders is highly desirable Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and clinical research practices is preferred Ability to manage crisis situations effectively using crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and professional integrity Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration in outpatient or inpatient settings Commitment to evidence-based practice standards with a focus on client-centered care Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate mental health services within a flexible practice environment.
