Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our team! The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to individuals struggling with substance use disorders in the Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, supporting clients in their recovery journey, and promoting long-term wellness. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with substance use disorders.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage family members in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with facility policies and confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including counselors, nurses, and doctors, to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and stress management.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and refer clients to additional resources or higher levels of care when appropriate.
• Ensure that all therapeutic practices align with the ethical standards and regulations of the facility and state laws.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid, state-issued licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Certification in substance abuse counseling preferred.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment models and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and 12-step facilitation.

Experience:

• At least two years of experience providing therapy services, preferably in a substance abuse or mental health setting.
• Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (Competencies):
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery processes.
• Crisis management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and resilience in the face of challenging client situations.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
