Job Description

Foundations Minnesota is a member of Foundations Recovery Network, a nationwide network of addiction care with more than 20 years of providing evidence-based, patient-centered treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The Pride Program is now part of Foundations Minnesota , a new entity designed to strengthen mental and behavioral health services, expand programming, and ensure long-term sustainability. This transition allows us to better meet the needs of our communities while also preserving the Pride Program's LGBTQ+ specialty outpatient track. This transition reflects our commitment to inclusive, high-quality care and positions us to serve more individuals with comprehensive behavioral health solutions. Foundations Minnesota is seeking a Dually Licensed Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team within MN 245G and CARF standards. The position provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery support services for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This role delivers evidence-based individual and group counseling, develops integrated treatment plans, conducts diagnostic assessments, coordinates care, and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to support positive treatment outcomes. This is a salaried, full-time, benefits-eligible position at our Foundations MN location based in Eden Prairie, MN, with a daytime schedule Monday through Friday. Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Mental Health, and related behavioral fields.
Experience :
2+ years of Alcohol and Drug Counseling and Mental Health Therapy experience.
Licensure:
Current Minnesota licensure or eligibility for licensure in a behavioral health discipline, including: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Other equivalent state-recognized behavioral health licensure Additional Requirements Knowledge of Minnesota Statutes Chapters 245G, 245A, 260E, 626.557, and 626.5572. Knowledge of CARF standards and applicable state and federal regulations. Ability to maintain all required training and continuing education requirements.
