Key Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed or certified as a Counselor, Social Worker, Psychologist, or related Mental Health Specialist Documented experience delivering therapy or mental health support, ideally in a school or pediatric setting Demonstrated success working with students exhibiting intensive behavioral needs Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and crisis management Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with both students and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct mental health assessments, therapy, and counseling interventions to a caseload of approximately 14 students (split between elementary and middle school) Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans, tracking progress and outcomes Collaborate with special education staff and administrators to create a safe, therapeutic classroom environment Participate in team meetings, consult with families, and offer staff training or support as needed Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all confidentiality and compliance standards This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on challenge and are passionate about making tangible changes in childrens lives.
