Job Description

Do the Clinical Work. We'll Handle the Business. At Intentional Growth Behavioral Health Services , we believe good therapists need two things: the freedom to practice as professionals and the support to keep growing. We're a growing outpatient private practice in Midland, NC, serving the Charlotte area. We work with children, adolescents, and adults, and we're looking for an experienced clinician who is dependable, comfortable with a full caseload, and genuinely invested in helping clients grow. At Intentional Growth, you don't have to build a private practice inside of ours. We provide the referrals and handle the business side of the practice so you can focus on what you do best: providing quality clinical care. What You'll Do You'll provide outpatient therapy to clients across a variety of ages and presenting concerns while building trusting, therapeutic relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide individual therapy based on each client's needs and treatment goals. Build trusting relationships that help clients feel safe, supported, and able to grow. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and treatment plans. Provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Participate in parental consultation and collateral work when clinically appropriate. Coordinate care with other professionals when appropriate. Use sound clinical judgment and appropriate evidence-based interventions. Work independently while communicating openly when you need consultation or support. Participate in supervision, consultation, training, and continuing education. Collaborate with other clinicians when consultation or additional perspective is helpful. Our current caseload is approximately 60% youth and 40% adults . Experience with TF-CBT, PSB-CBT, developmental disabilities, or other specialized populations is a plus. A Full Caseload Without Having to Find It You won't be expected to market yourself or build your own caseload. Our practice generates referrals, and referrals are thoughtfully matched to clinician strengths, experience, and areas of interest. New clinicians are gradually introduced to referrals during an initial ramp-up period before reaching a full caseload. Once established, the expectation is an average of 6 clients per day . Because outpatient schedules change, there may occasionally be days when you see 7 or more clients due to cancellations and rescheduling. This isn't the norm, but it's a realistic possibility. This position is a good fit for a clinician who thrives in a steady clinical environment, is comfortable maintaining a full caseload, and takes pride in providing consistent, high-quality care. Clinical Independence With Real Support We don't believe good clinicians need to be micromanaged. We do believe they should have access to support when they need it. Our owner and clinical supervisor maintains an open-door policy, and therapists are encouraged to reach out for clinical guidance, consultation, or another perspective whenever they need it. You'll have room to practice independently while knowing that support is available when a case becomes challenging or you need another clinical perspective.
For associate clinicians:
LCSW supervision is provided in-house. Reimbursement is available toward an approved outside supervisor for other associate license types. We provide support for continuing education and actively look for training opportunities that benefit our clinicians.
Our goal is simple:
help you become a better clinician without micromanaging how you practice. We Handle the Business Side You won't have to spend your time building the business behind your clinical practice.
