Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and trauma-specific interventions. Collect and document clinical data accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards; maintain detailed medical records and case notes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, facilitate case management, and ensure seamless patient care delivery. Engage in client communication through motivational interviewing, cultural diversity counseling, and gender issues counseling to foster trust and promote positive outcomes. Qualifications Proven experience working with children, youth, or individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions. Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical ethical guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation procedures. Skilled in crisis management, trauma-specific interventions, addiction counseling, and conflict resolution techniques. Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and understanding cultural diversity counseling principles. Ability to perform intake assessments effectively while demonstrating excellent client communication skills. Relevant certifications or licenses in social work, psychotherapy, or related fields are highly preferred.
