Outpatient Therapist Changing Lives Therapeutic Service Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $40 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Outpatient experience Master's degree Criminal Justice Adolescents Full Job Description Must hold a License in the state of North Carolina ResponsibMust work 25 + hours per week to recieve free Supervision Provide Clinical Comprehensive Assessments (CCAs), and individual and family therapy for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, teens, children and families experiencing mental health issues, substance use disorders, and opioid use disorders. Responsibilities for Outpatient Therapist Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services Assess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations Develop and implement treatment plans based on CCA and ongoing progress or lack thereof Conduct initial assessments and refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary Coordinate with professional supports within Changing Lives Therapeutic Service, LLC and other professional supports such as primary care physicians as needed Make treatment and social service referrals to appropriate agencies that support client goals Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner Maintain current knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, criminal justice systems, and community resources using in-service training, seminars, workshops, and publications Attend supervision and clinical meetings Practice within full compacity of clinician license and competencies
