In this role, you will create a safe, engaging environment where participants feel empowered to share, learn, and grow. Your expertise will help individuals from diverse backgrounds develop coping skills, improve their mental well-being, and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions tailored to various mental health and behavioral Develop Conduct client assessments to evaluate progress, identify needs, and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly Utilize techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy to promote positive change. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management efforts, and community resource referrals Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols while ensuring client safety Requirements Proven experience facilitating group therapy sessions in mental health, or behavioral health settings Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR/EHR management), ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and clinical documentation standards Ability to perform client assessments in therapy settings with a focus on patient care and client communication skills Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Relevant certifications or licenses in social work, counseling, psychology or related fields are preferred Join us as a Counseling Groups Facilitator to empower individuals on their journey toward mental wellness!
